If you’re considering purchasing this Service Package, chances are good that you already understand the difference between a Screenplay, Script, and Teleplay, so we won’t bore you with the ins and outs here. Needless to say, there are vast differences -and subtle nuances- to each.  

Because of the differences in style, concept and end product, it’s almost impossible to quote an accurate fee for these services without highly customizing them to fit your exact needs.

At Morgan Pierce Media & Publishing™, we have a team of gifted writers ready to accommodate all genres and take the guesswork out of the writing process, from Start to Finish.

We carefully match you with just the right Ghostwriter. They then walk you through every step of the process: From the initial first interview, which generally takes two to three hours (follow-ups as needed) – to working with you to complete our detailed Author Questionnaire. This questionnaire aims to help you remember all the pertinent details of your story and the correct chronological order of events through pre-planning and research, establishing your goals as the Author. We then work to set the proper tone, content, voicing, and structure of your story. From there, we begin carefully crafting your manuscript for you.

Our fees are as follows:
Fiction: Thirty cents per word.

Most works of Fiction range between 80,000 to 100,000 words. While anything over 40,000 words can fall into the category, 50,000 is considered the minimum word length. Anything over 110,000 is considered too long for Fiction.

Non-Fiction (Memoirs, Autobiography, Biography): Forty cents per word. 

Detailed Business or Technical Books: Fifty cents per word.

There is no defined word count guide for non-fiction books due to the many subgenres. If you’re writing a non-fiction book, look up that category to find the length of similar books. For example, memoirs are generally 80,000 to 90,00 words.  

Please note for Non-Fiction works, you assume all risk regarding graphs, charts, and other informational tools used within your manuscript, and liability of technical claims rests solely with you, the Client. 

We’re experts at Media & Publishing. However, we may not be experts in your chosen field of knowledge!

Please note that we don’t waste words for fiction and Non-Fiction works. All our Ghostwriters write tightly – but in keeping with your tone, voicing, and pacing. We don’t pad our work just to charge more! We will keep you updated regarding the word count as your project unfolds and will do everything in our power to turn out a quality product at the most affordable price.  

Our Ghostwriting Package is just that: a Service Package for writing only. Once we complete your story, you will then need to purchase one of our Publishing Packages to move it forward to design/ publication and marketing completion.

AudioBook: Price quoted upon request 

On average, the ‘cost per finished hour’ of an audiobook is about $300 to $400. So, if an audiobook is 10 hours long, it would cost about $3000 to $4000 to produce it. 

Not every book is a good match for creating an Audiobook, so keeping your best interests in mind, we want to be upfront and clear about that point.  

Usually, works of Fiction are best for an Audiobook format, but some technical manuscripts can also make for a workable Audiobook. It depends upon how detailed the technical information and jargon is.

At Morgan Pierce Media & Publishing™, we will go to great lengths to create an optional Audiobook Recording Services Package that’s affordable and turns out a quality finished product of which you’ll be proud. 

We offer this Optional Audiobook Recording Services Package as an adjunct package. It is NOT meant to be a standalone Service Package!

We have several different voice talents on staff and carefully match each, considering the correct speaking pattern, pacing, gender, and dialect for your particular project. 

Keep in mind: The recording of an Audiobook is labor and cost-intensive. Making an audiobook involves the work of many professionals, and obviously, each one must be paid. Apart from the Narrator(s), there is studio time to be booked, talent fees to be paid, recording engineers, audiobook editors, and mastering engineers who play a crucial role in producing a high-quality audiobook. And this can drive up the overall cost of production. In addition, every Audiobook also requires a unique ISBN through Bowker.
